Body image and self esteem

Service Description

This course is targeted toward clinicians who want to work with clients that have struggles with food addiction, compulsive overeating, or binge eating disorder. The group will explore individual therapy as well as group therapy options for treatment. We will explore resistance to diagnosis and the science of addiction as it relates to the resulting obesity epidemic. We will explore best practices in treatment and psychoeducation as well as exploring goals related to developing a healthy body image and self-esteem building practices.
